Tribuana Montevaso 2005 and so on, a note book memory, and pondering on Yuga.



There are moment we grow, there are moment we take from the worlds elements of life we need. As the basic carrier, water is the one to honor, to purify, to beam with our inner light: knowledge in brain, vibrate sound in energy and work with body.
the 4 seasons we live on earth, the 4 yuga that the Indian has in their Veda, the Maya with their cyclic calendar, we are living now a calendar of a years with 365/366 days, repeated and repeated so, a day of 24 hours, a minute of 60 seconds, ....heartbeat of .....
Imagining the heartbeat of the cosmos, the cycle of the SUN of our sun ...

Then, comparing with what we live on earth with 4 season, autumn, winter, spring, summer, we find kali yuga, dwapara yuga, treta yuga, satya yuga but here in a different distance of duration.

Let us dreaming and imagining:
If we ponder on cyclic season (365 days a year) on earth, trees blooming, fruiting, seeding, and hibernate ... then we pondering on the "season" of 2x 4 yuga= one cycle total yuga (about 24000 years, some others say 25920 ) years.
They said that satya yuga is a golden divine cosmic consciousness age (period/season) , where we need not language to communicate because there are no more my idea and your idea, no more my thought and their thought. There are "THOUGHT" free wifi to consume from cosmos and one's mind.
If in a room we breath the same air to survive to take oxygen, in a room of satya yuga we consume "CONSCIOUSNESS" for free like air on earth now; ha haa, imagine it so.
From Kali yuga to Satya yuga, it is an ascending consciousness, we need the use of matter to get knowledge. As metaphor: from solid to air/steam. 
From Satya yuga to Kali yuga we spend cosmic consciousness to gain matter. As metaphor : from steam to ice/solid.

Now, using this basic idea as creativity in tribuana way , tribuana-theater of life is a transforming way from idea to realization (matter/reality), and from reality to idea. Between both element, there are life, energy, effort, work, work in shopping, ..... Theater of life is theater that is worked by idea and reality.

As we see and take wisdom from the tree, there are moment to observe elements from outside, growing, there are moment of "offering" its flower, fruit, flagrant, essence, knowledge, secret .... 

Entering a certain human's age, human's period, seasons, there may a time to offer, if we have chance to do so. To offer matter, energy/emotion, thought, knowledge, creation as offering. To offer like a flower blooming in spring is to release from one's owning nature, in a joy of celebration in the form of sharing, teaching, guiding, ordering, contributing ... it is depend on character of the person. The character as one parameter of value of human being; Certain theatrical work, is work on character.

Playing a character in theater, theater of life, is acting in life, to be, to behave, is pondering on what you have gained from your ancestor heritage, from education, from life experiences & knowledge.

As a Balinese actor, i have been wondering in France since 1974 ( I was 29 years that time). Working in Indonesia with Putu Wijaya, W.S.Rendra, Sardono W.Kusumo, the last took me with his "La Sorcière de Dirah" dance, music, theater, 30 dancers, actors, musicians, singers, 4 children from Bali and Java , touring in Europe. My family, Hindu-bali tradition, left me something that revealed itself by time, by working with others. I have giving Tribuana workshop in some European countries, Bogota, Caracas, Mexico, Tchad,
Working for Peter Brook 1979-1991, in creation "Conference of the birds" of Attar, "Carmen", "Mahabharata", "La Tempête/ the tempest of Shakespeare", "Ta Da Da",

Au musée du Louvre, Paris, après 3 heures de film Mahabharata, parle .....

ensemble interrogent : Le Grand Mahabharata

La forme Théâtrale de Mahabharata dans son première présentation au Festival d'Avignon en 1985, ça dure 9 heures de spectacle avec 9 mois de répétition au Bouffes du Nord, Paris, avec 10 jours voyage éclaire en Inde, toute les équipes.
Chloé Obolensky scenography , costume, accessoire, selon Pippa Cleator son assistance il y a au mois une liste des milliers d'objets commandé de l'Inde & d'ailleurs, et pourtant on voir la simplicité essentielle dans l'utilisation d'accessoire de mise-en-scène de Peter Brook. 
Mahabharata de l'Inde, fabriqué in France avec jusqu'à 16 nationalité différent, Centre International de recherche théâtrale de Peter Brook à Paris conduire par Micheline Rozan, C.I.R.T. , avec tournée Mondiale : Europe, Japon, Los Angeles, New York, Australie, et film version 3 heures et 6 heures
Autant qu'acteur née à Bali, baigné par Mahabharata en théâtre d'ombre (film=ombre électronique), en théâtre d'ombre de la vie + masque (Wayang Wong), je pose des question: quel type de théâtre devons nous produire à ce moment? Théâtre, cristal et lumière et ombre de la vie, idée de pensée humain, théâtre rendre réelle/visible l'invisible qui nous anime..... alors, l'acteur est venu pour réveiller la matière morte, la matière qui dorme.
Bhagavad Gita, chant-lumineuse de Krishna et Arjuna dans le champ de bataille Kuruksetra, grand guerre de la famille Bharata .....
hmmm la guerre, ou commence-t-il cette grand guerre 
la décision, le choix de l'action, sa fontaine jaillir en soi, 
Théâtre des trois mondes: pensée, émotion (énergie multi couleurs de la vie), corps/matière;
Célébration, performance, spectacle, offrande, création humain, création animal, création végétal,
et
la matière, les minéraux comment se transforme-t-il en cellule vivant?

Actors, directors, writer of a play, and film producer, interviewer was there after 3 hours (short film version of Mahabharata of Peter Brook, that in its theatrical play it was a run-through 9 hours performance in 3 part. When Mahabharata performed at festival Avignon in 1985, it start from sun-set/sun-down till sun rise .....

18-21 April 2014, Marga Pura Tribuana at Melara, Italia.

Thinking of 2 Marga Pura Tribuana event in a year, questioning, renewing our habit, which one to continue as new bud (grain of habit), which one to abundant left behind to die;
the parameter to follow is: idea - daily action - habit - character - destiny.
Among the 5 steps here, the time of the actual work during residential-work-share is the step of : daily action.
The 2 poles of the annual cycle of retreat are spring and end of autumn:
one in Easter, with spirit of "rebirth"
others in September , may be again in Caroman, our mythic wild sacred space of birth migrate, natural space in and out door, beach, of little island of Venezia.

What will be the "lesson" and the essential parameters to keep and to practice daily from this 3 days work share in the air of "Easter time" holy days?
Time registered, and carries experiences.
Experiences to filtered its lessons, useful hint for life.
Hints can become determinant parameter, important references in considering reality, in taking decision, in solving problems of life;
Our way is theater tribuana, theater of 3 references.
Number of participants is determinant reference too.
3 active participants from Grenoble (2 advance age, 1 young boys), France with one of their driver/accompany/ "husband" of a participants.
1 lady of Italian experienced theater, has done Tribuana workshop many time, theater creator of Teatro Rimbalzo.
1 man from Milano has done many workshop Tribuana, work fro party event.
1 man has done many Tribuana work fro Padova;
2 participants & organizer from Padova: young couple of Teatro Invisibile that organized many Tribuana workshop, that create Marga Pura, a way to inner "temple".
2 new young girls never did Tribuana work.
1 young girls has done some Tribuana work, from Padova
2 boys new in Tribuana way.

13 divers active participants, 1 non active, and me , we were 15 in a place that specially build for Scouts meeting.

We cook vegetarian together,
good participants we need not to make the list of group "turn duty", every one seems time their time on cooking, cleaning, dishes washing, ...

Every moment of life time there can be a "work" of Tribuana way to Marga Pura; The time work  then....24 hours; A pose (sleep) is also part of natural work;

In Tribuana Marga Pura we ponder/ questioning every thing of life.

The second morning we manage to do "water ritual" 06h30 (2 member still asleep, missing the "lessons").
the first night we did "meditation" sit on chair around candle light.

The space is clean, new, with enough space to do work inside and outside the building.
the building has one neighbor on one side, and cultivated agricultural field surround.

What can be the work to do so it can feed better these diversity of participants, may be in aim, capacity? interest? openness? Tribuana response : language for work on thought, behavior/character for work on energy of life, emotion, making and work with objects.

As servant and master and guide I must invent program together with others that present.
27 fields/lessons of Tribuana is to be shared, to work on. When? Where? Who will do the lessons, which one?

A 3 days work-share: in tribuana guide/reference:

  1. first day is making the group to introduce the sense of family in order to behave at ease like at home;
  2. the second day to explore the menu Tribuana among 27 of  them, we did cleaning ritual with broom, in movement of Silat  discipline, ritual of cleaning with Koukoul Djagat (Tribuana Ko Do). In the second day I am actively enter to the workn of possible, every tribuana field (of 27) with its proper way and discipline. Some soft, other hard and tough;
  3. The third day is to practice what has been open, introduce of tribuana; Participants organize their choice, i a open to accompany, to "teach", to give indication in practiced. Presentation of personal Totem or group work.
Work on the group was the first "lessons". How to introduce and to guide and to develop the work into useful instrument that unite them in the same: interest, time, space.

Finding parameter of "how to work in a group" is a work.
For this purpose, I must create a game, an activity, an exercise.
There are important exercise how to lead a group, how to be a "good" follower, how to be a "good/just" guide/leader. To experience to be a master that transmit and to be a student that perceived is a work to do, and to find its parameter; In this exercise participants must be

  1. always ready to follow, to receive /to perceive and to give: to transmit/ to guide.
  2. understand is a way to trace, understand the rule of the game, understand others,...
  3. open
  4. interest on others
  5. evaluating/grows/adapting the rules, the link, the story, the subject of common interest/creation.
  6. be creative to progress in harmony with others.
  7. ....
Here a video, of Tribuana Tree of Wisdom playful-ritual the last day before leaving the space,  the last participants did cleaning to leave the space as being discovered on arrival time. A space of work is Marga Pura, identical as Do Jo in Japanese Martial art space.
